Olympique Marseille midfield ace Samir Nasri is back on the radar of Real Madrid.

The way Hannover tore apart Real this week has convinced the club's football staff that they need to add more creativity to coach Bernd Schuster's midfield - and Nasri has emerged as a priority.

With a move for Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas dead in the water and AC Milan refusing to enter negotiations over the sale of Kaka, Real intend to make a bid for l'OM youngster Nasri. Real directors Miguel Angel Portugal and Pedja Mijatovic are big fans of Nasri and have already informed Schuster of their plans.

The German is delighted, as he knows his midfield lacks the creative spark that Nasri would deliver.
