Real Madrid are planning a January move for Arsenal fullback Hector Bellerin.
Real president Florentino Perez is seeking a new right-back signing after losing Dani Carvajal to a heart concern. The defender is expected to be back in action before Christmas, but his absence has made it clear that a new defensive signing is needed.
Diario Sport says Real have made contact with Bellerin's agents about a January move and has already learned they could convince Arsenal to sell for around €40m.
Bellerin, however, could take some persuading given his Barcelona background. Indeed, he met several times with Barca sports chief Robert Fernandez towards the end of last season about a return to his former club.
