Real Madrid are in talks with Inter Milan over the sensational January sale of Kaka. Italy's Panorama says the two clubs have been in negotiations for some weeks over Kaka's return to Italy.

Real coach Jose Mourinho has confessed to his former Inter president Massimo Moratti that he cannot see Kaka recapturing his AC Milan form in Madrid and is failing to live up to his €65 million price-tag.

Moratti has shrugged off Mourinho's concerns and is ready to bring the Brazilian back to Italy in January.

Inter want to set up a six-month loan deal with the view to a permanent transfer for Kaka to the tune of €25 million in June.

AC Milan are also exploring the prospect of Kaka returning, with vice-president Adriano Galliani weighing him up as a replacement for LA Galaxy target Ronaldinho.
