RB Leipzig wonderkid Timo Werner has confessed he was a Manchester United fan growing up.
Werner has been linked with Real Madrid and Liverpool this season.
Speaking to Sky Deutschland, Werner said: "As a young boy, you always dream of the big club you'd like to play for.
"It used to be Manchester United under Alex Ferguson, who always won. A young boy is always a fan of those who win.
"You can't just drop something like that. When it's going well, you dream of playing somewhere else."
Werner hit three goals for Joachim Low's side at the Confederations Cup in Russia and will be pushing to be part of his World Cup squad next summer.
