Real Madrid legend Davor Suker believes Jose Mourinho would find good use of Tottenham ace Luka Modric.

Suker is hopeful Real can beat Manchester United and PSG for the Croatia playmaker.

On Mourinho, Suker says: "He does not need me to tell him how to use Modric. Mourinho knows what to do and I think signing players like Modric would help to build a more complete squad.

"I hope that next year Madrid lifts even more trophies in Europe and in Spain. And I would like Madrid, as a Croatian and future president of the Federation, to go with Modric as one of the key members of the team."
