Real Madrid legend Ronaldo is furious with Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson after the Scot branded him the "fatter one". Ferguson gave Ronaldo the tag when comparing him with Cristiano Ronaldo.

The rotund Ronaldo snapped: "Real Madrid shut his mouth for me.

"He was disrespectful. A professional with many years, Sir Alex should not have shown such disrespect, it was not elegant.

"I hope any team Ferguson leads always loses."
