Real Madrid legend Roberto Carlos has paid tribute to former teammate Raul.

Raul plays his final game today in the NASL Cup final for New York Cosmos.

"Raúl is from here, from Madrid, and rose up at the club. He's seen it all and done it all at Real Madrid. That's what makes him different from Cristiano, who came from Manchester United. CR7 has made history on the pitch, but Raúl has done so on and off it because he's from Madrid," the Brazilian told MARCA.

"He's a living club legend and I wouldn't bet against him coming back to coach Real Madrid one day. Considering what a hard worker he is, I'm sure things would go well for him."
