Schalke coach Felix Magath wants the club to extend the contract of Raul.
Only weeks ago it appeared the glamour move for the Real Madrid legend was turning sour.
But after hitting his first Bundesliga goal, Raul is now in the good books at Schalke and Magath is already talking about offering him new terms.
Raul's current deal runs to 2012.
