Real Madrid legend Raul is expected to sign with New York Cosmos this week.
Raul has been playing in Qatar for the past 18 months with Al Sadd and is now set to join NASL club New York Cosmos for next season.
The 37-year-old will travel to the States this week to formally sign a contract, committing to the club for at least two seasons, reports ESPN.
The ex-Madridista will combine playing in the NASL with coaching Cosmos' youth team, which is due to be launched in the New Year.
Raúl visited Cosmos' training complex at the start of October and met the squad and coach Giovanni Savarese during his stay.
