Real Madrid legend Raul believes they can be pleased with their performance in defeat at Barcelona.

Raul is now New York Cosmos player-coach.

"Obviously I follow everything to do with Real Madrid and I'm disappointed with the latest defeat, but I'm also happy with the level of football that Real Madrid played for most of the game," said Raul.

Raul also spoke of his decision to move to Cosmos.

"I want to help by offering my experience to the youngsters and transmitting everything I feel to them, all my passion for football, and to try to help soccer get stronger in a country where other sports are above it."
