Real Madrid legend Hugo Sanchez: Ronaldo needs a cuddle

Real Madrid legend Hugo Sanchez has urged fans to get behind Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo faces a big test tomorrow night in their Copa clash with Barcelona.

"With Cristiano Ronaldo you have to cuddle, be careful and spoil him," said Sanchez. "We know his character, so nobody can be surprised now.

"He's always needed support. If he can start scoring goals again then everyone will benefit."

Okay I can't believe this crap, cuddled, pampered give me a break. These are fans of Madrid not rivals, it's their job to be supportive. No player is perfect every game, look at Messi he had a dry run for a short while and even missed or more accurately had a PK stopped by the keeper, even then it wasn't so much a bad PK it was more that the goal keeper was on his game for sure. I'm not even a Barca fan but if they wanted they to could be whistling and jeering Messi because if it weren't for that stop Barca would be even in points with Madrid. CR7 puts enough pressure on himself and he and his entire team need the fans support. Do they not realize that their whistling and jeering affects not just one player, in the long run it affects the entire team. I also can't believe that what are supposed to be Madrids ex greats are even letting the press get a hold of this right before another very pressurized round against Barca. Makes you wonder if they themselves want to be in the headlines while completely disregarding the fact that it causes negative focus on the team they are supposed to support. It boils down to this I don't care what anybody says, when a player (and I don't care what player it is or for what club they play for) the whistling and jeering of a player they are supposed to support will NOT help the player nor will it do one dammed thing for the team itself. It's no different than telling your child they will never succeed at anything. Here in the states that's called bad parenting and mostly it's just abuse with a bad outcome.

Gaynaldo is a baby, he cries too much, and he needs his mommy mourinhoe to cuddle him to bed every night.
