Real Madrid legend Hugo Sanchez has urged president Florentino Perez not to give up on signing Kylian Mbappe.

It emerged this week that Florentino had gone cold on the Monaco striker Mbappe over his contract demands.

But Sanchez says: "Real Madrid is used to making special transfers and the youth of Mbappé attracted the attention of everyone.

"Between (Zinedine) Zidane and Florentino, they will make the best possible decision for Real Madrid.

"Me, if I have the money I'd recruit him."
