Real Madrid legend Hugo Sanchez believes they're capable of beating Barcelona at the Nou Camp on Sunday.

Real need victory to prevent Barca from going clear at the top of the table.

"It's a pivotal game. The clashes between Real Madrid and Barça are some of the most special matches in football. 'Clásicos' are always a bit like flipping a coin, although it will definitely be an intense game," said Sanchez.

"I hope Real Madrid win. I'd love to see a 2-0 away win, but I think it will be 2-1 for Real. As for the goalscorers, I hope Cristiano, Benzemá or Chicharito score - any of those three for this team's goalscorers."
