Real Madrid legend Gento has likened Cristiano Ronaldo to Alfredo di Stefano. Gento says Ronaldo is worthy of the comparison.
He told AS: "Yes. Di Stéfano was an idol of mine. He was great. He arrived when he was 27 and scored in an era which was very good for Madrid.
"Cristiano is one of a kind, as Di Stéfano was. He is the Di Stéfano of this century. Two stars who will forever be in history. What great goals he scores! I scored 12 or 13 in the league and could see how hard it was...and now I see him and how easily he does it!"
