Real Madrid legend Luis Figo admits his confidence is growing over his bid for the FIFA presidency.

Figo was speaking in Paraguay, where he was meeting with CONMEBOL presidents.

"I am more optimistic with each passing day," he said.

"It was a very positive meeting during which I had the opportunity to explain my ideas for the FIFA presidency."
