Real Madrid have left a new contract offer on the table to Xabi Alonso.

AS says Real tabled a new one-year contract extension to Xabi in May, which would keep the midfielder at the club until 2015.

But Xabi is yet to respond and wants to see where he fits in coach Carlo Ancelotti's plans before making a final decision.
