Real Madrid have left Cristiano Ronaldo at home this week for the Audi Cup in Germany.

Ronaldo picked up a back injury in Real's last training session.

The Portuguese great has featured in four friendless so far this preseason, scoring one goal.

Also missing from the Cup will be Lucas Silva and Karim Benzema, who are both reported by Real as being injured.

"Cristiano Ronaldo and Benzema have trouble. We did not want to risk them because the most important thing now is health," said coach Rafa Benitez.
