Real Madrid keeping tabs on Everton boss Martinez

Real Madrid are monitoring the performance of Everton under manager Roberto Martinez.

The Mail on Sunday says Martinez is emerging as the leading a candidate to succeed Arsene Wenger at Arsenal, who the Spaniard's Everton side face on Sunday.

But if Arsenal don't decide for a change at the top this summer then they could lose out to Real Madrid.

If Madrid fail to win the Champions League and lose out in La Liga than Carlo Ancelotti could be on his way.

And there is talk in Madrid that Martinez would be the man to replace Ancelotti.
