Real Madrid goalkeeper Diego Lopez has jumped to the defence of teammate Karim Benzema.

The France striker struggled to make an impact in their Champions League draw with Manchester United last week.

Lopez said: "He's a very professional player. I don't think it's that important if he's scoring more or less goals. I think both he and Gonzalo have loads of talent and are two of the top players in their position today."
