Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas insists there's more to Cristiano Ronaldo's game than goals.

Ronaldo is enduring his worst goalscoring start to a season in his time with Real Madrid.

But Keylor, reflecting on Sunday's win over Espanyol, insisted: "He did a very good job, he defended with the whole team, he threatened when he had the ball, he passed it to his teammates ... They are good details that have to be evaluated just like goals."

Isco scored twice on the day and the keeper added: "He is an important player for us. It is super good to have him in the team and he makes many goals. He will help us keep winning."
