Real Madrid have joined the Bosman scramble for Chelsea winger Joe Cole.

The Daily Star says Chelsea have withdrawn their new contract offer to the England ace.

There is no shortage of willing takers, with interest both from the Premier League and abroad.

Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham have all made contact, while Real Madrid are also contenders, under Cole's old boss Jose Mourinho.

A decent World Cup will put Cole in a position to negotiate terms of around £75,000-a-week.
