Chelsea are stepping up their interest in Real Madrid midfielder Kaka.
Kaka has been a long-term target for Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti, who worked with the Brazilian at AC Milan.
Radio Cadena Ser says the interest in Kaka's progress from long-term injury has now intensified from Chelsea, where owner Roman Abramovich has opened his chequebook and is ready for a massive spending spree later this year.
For the moment, Ancelotti and Abramovich have Kaka listed as a 'future' project, but will move for the midfielder if encouraged by Real.
