Real Madrid have informed James Rodriguez he can leave this summer.
The Mirror says Manchester United have been told they can buy Real Madrid midfielder James this summer for £50million.
The Colombia captain failed to seal a regular starting spot in the Real starting XI last season, and it has been recently reported that he has put his house in Madrid up for sale.
James joined Real for £56m from Monaco after the 2014 World Cup, but could be available to United for around £50m.
Colombia were knocked out of the Copa America on Wednesday, losing 2-0 to Chile in the semi-final in Chicago on Wednesday.
