Former Real Madrid fullback Michel Salgado is backing their move for PSG attacker Neymar.

PSG are reluctant to sell the winger, but he remains the priority in the former right-back's eyes.

"If Florentino has something in his head, he does it," remarked Salgado, who labelled Neymar as 'Option A'.

Another major deal on the go in Madrid is the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo, with Salgado hoping Real don't lower their asking price for the winger too much.

"[Ronaldo is] a player who has defined an era in Madrid and who is still defining it," he added.

"I know him well, I know that when he makes a decision, he does so knowing all the consequences.

"If he doesn't leave, we still have him for his best moments. He is a monster, a phenomenon, and if he goes then we will thank him for what he has given.

"That the [1 billion euro release] clause has been lowered, worries me."
