Real Madrid hero, Man Utd winger make Portugal list

Portugal manager Paulo Bento has announced a 30-mna provisional squad for the World Cup.

As expected, Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has been named despite sustaining a hamstring injury recently while Manchester United winger Nani has made the initial cut.

Ronaldo's club teammates Pepe and Fabio Coentrao were included alongside Fenerbahce defender Bruno Alves, Lazio striker Helder Postiga and Sporting Lisbon young gun William Carvalho who has been heavily linked with Chelsea in recent times.

Portugal have been drawn alongside Germany, Ghana and the USA in Group G of Brazil 2014 which kicks off next month.
