Real Madrid goalkeeper Antonio Adan was happy to keep a clean sheet in victory at Espanyol.
Adan was forced into an unexpected Liga debut as Iker Casillas was sent off after only two minutes.
Real coach Jose Mourinho described Adan's performance as "fantastic" and the keeper declared: "The truth is that I have only words of gratitude for him. At all times he gave me great confidence.
"I was relaxed going into battle knowing everyone believed in me.
"Everyone has shown me much confidence. I was told that I should not be nervous."
