Real Madrid hero Amancio Amaro expects Isco to start in Saturday's Champions League final against Juventus.

Isco is battling Gareth Bale for a place in Real's starting line-up.

But 1966 European Cup winner Amaro told AS: "No need for controversy. Bale has not played for a month and is just out of injury and Isco, with the performances he is having, from my point of view, he initially has more possibilities.

"Today, in training, he who better knows is (Zinedine) Zidane."

He added: "I respect Juventus, their value and what Italian football means, I'm looking forward to the final with a lot of excitement."
