Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas struggling to make Spurs clash

Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas is struggling to make their Champions League clash with Tottenham next week.

The 30-year-old picked up the issue in Costa Rica's 1-1 draw with Honduras last week, a game that booked the former's place at next summer's World Cup.

The injury meant Navas subsequently missed Costa Rica's final World Cup qualifier against Panama, which they lost 2-1, and now means he is likely to be sidelined for Real's upcoming La Liga clash with city rivals Getafe on Saturday.

With Los Blancos then hosting Tottenham in the Champions League next Tuesday, Zinedine Zidane may be forced to start back-up goalkeeper Kiko Casilla for the trip to Getafe and the visit of Spurs, reports the London Evening Standard.
