Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is chasing Valencia trio David Villa, David Silva and Raul Albiol.
El Mundo Deportivo says Perez intends to make contact with Valencia this week about a £40 million deal for the Spain international trio.
However, that offer will fall well short of Valencia's valuation, with Chelsea willing to pay £40 million alone for Villa and Liverpool a cool £18 million for Silva.
