Real Madrid are rethinking their plans to bring Getafe midfielder Dani Parejo back to the club.
Real were expected to take up their buy-back option in the summer to sign Parejo for a knockdown €5 million.
But Marca says talks between all parties have gone cold over the last six weeks, suggesting Real are now looking elsewhere for midfield reinforcements.
With Bayern Munich's Hamit Altintop set to follow Nuri Sahin to Real, it does appear a return for Parejo is now unlikely.
