Real Madrid GM Jorge Valdano has rubbished reports this week that he was ready to resign.
There were claims Valdano would offer his resignation to president Florentino Perez today.
"Nothing has been presented to me, nor have I raised such a matter. It would be a good sign if Mourinho continued after June and I followed him," said Valdano.
Valdano was also happy to see on-loan Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor score in their Copa victory over Sevilla.
"What better way to introduce yourself at the Bernabeu. He was cold and forceful. It will give him confidence."
