Real Madrid GM Jorge Valdano has warned the rest of Europe after admitting interest in Franck Ribery.

Asked if the Bayern Munich star was on Real's shopping list, Valdano smiled: "Ribéry is an interesting player, indeed, very interesting. Our market campaign is not yet finished.

"You saw what Florentino Perez was capable of doing in 10 days, imagine what will happen in the next two months."
