Sergio Ramos has put his hand up to fill in at centre-half after the season-ending injury suffered by Real Madrid teammate Pepe.

Ramos is currently playing at right-back for coach Manuel Pellegrini, but also feels comfortable in central defence.

He said: "I'm very happy with things on the flank and I'd like continue to demonstrate that, but also I like playing in the centre. If the coach wants me there, I can do it without problems.

"Pepe is a fundamental part of this team. His injury is the worst thing to happen to Madrid this season."
