Real Madrid defender Alvaro Arbeloa has urged fans to stop jeering captain Iker Casillas.
Casillas has been barracked by Madridistas in recent games, including at the start of Saturday's 2-0 win over Deportivo La Coruna.
Arbeloa, who no longer has a close friendship with Casillas, declared: "I've always said that the whistles are accepted. When they whistle against one of us, they whistle against all of us. The fans are protected. It means that we must accept everything from them, not only Iker.
"We support each other because we are a family."
Arbeloa added: "It is impossible to be seven months on top. The lows are normal and there have been injuries."
