Real Madrid fullback Arbeloa: We'll support whichever keeper is chosen

Real Madrid fullback Alvaro Arbeloa knows all eyes will be on Jose Mourinho's goalkeeper selection today against Real Sociedad.

Before Christmas, Mourinho dropped Iker Casillas for Antonio Adan for their defeat to Malaga.

"Adán is also a very good goalkeeper and we have the same respect for him as we do for Iker. I also want to congratulate Iker for being named best goalkeeper of the year. Whoever plays on Sunday will have the support of his team mates. This is a great opportunity for Adán and it means that he is working very well. He has our full confidence," said Arbeloa.

"For the Madrid fans the important thing is not who plays, but that the team wins. It is all connected. The coach and Iker both want the same thing, which is to win trophies and this should also be the case with the fans. We all go through difficult spells but I am sure Iker will bring us many more trophies.

"I just want to win all of our matches from now until the end of the season. Iker himself is the first to take it in his stride, proving what a good team mate and professional he is. He has trained harder than ever. We have all spent time on the bench; it is quite normal. People are making too big a deal of it. It is just another tactical decision and we know he will carry on being important for the team."
