Real Madrid fullback Alvaro Arbeloa has defended coach Jose Mourinho over his approach to the club's young players.

Mourinho has been criticised for ignoring the talent in the Castilla.

But Arbeloa argues: "The fans want their team to be on top, to win and titles achieved. They would not be happy to have ten homegrown and finish third. They want the best players like Ozil and Pepe.

"But the juniors are a recurring theme and each year they are used to attack the coach and to be impatient with the young. This is Real Madrid and not everyone can play."
