Real Madrid fullback Alvaro Arbeloa is confident keeping Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney quiet for their Champions League showdown.
The former Liverpool defender is delighted with the last-16 draw in the Champions League.
He told The Sun: "During my stay on Merseyside I played against Rooney and I wasn't always at my best.
"He will be very important for United and I am determined not to allow him to perform well.
"There is extra incentive for me because I have so many friends from my Liverpool days and they would love to see United knocked out of Europe."
