According to The Independent, Alvaro Morata could complete his move to Manchester United as early as this week.
It is reported that Morata walked away pleased after talks with United boss Jose Mourinho and is ready to commit his future to the club.
The report suggests that talks between Morata's club, Real Madrid, and the Red Devils had progressed enough over the weekend to suggest that a deal could be completed in the next few days.
Los Blancos had originally been holding for £78m for the Spain international, but have since relaxed their stance after they began to switch their focus to purchasing Monaco's Kylian Mbappe.
United are now confident they can secure Morata for under £70m.
Mourinho is desperate to bolster his attacking options given the uncertainty surrounding Zlatan Ibrahimovic's future, and the inexperience of Marcus Rashford.
