Real Madrid are following Malaga fullback Jesus Gamez.

Real had scouts posted at the Mestalla last week to see Gamez in action against Valencia.

Gamez's contract carries a £9 million buyout clause, but Malaga president Fernando Sanz is willing to negotiate a sale for around £5 million.

Real coach Juande Ramos rates Gamez highly and had him watched also when he was in charge of Tottenham.
