Real Madrid are following Aston Villa winger Ashley Young.
The Sunday Telegraph says Young is on a shortlist of midfield targets new Real coach Juande Ramos has recommended to his board.
Ramos has also made inquiries about Tottenham's Aaron Lennon and Didier Zokora.
