Gareth Bale's Real Madrid signing presentation was marred yesterday by fans protesting the sale of Mesut Ozil. Over 30,000 Madridistas attended Bale's signing ceremony at the Santiago Bernabeu, just as Ozil's sale to Arsenal was going through.
"Don't sell Ozil! Don't sell Ozil!" chanted Real fans when president Florentino Perez took the podium.
But is was all too late for the Real support, with Ozil having passed his medical in Munich and agreed terms with the Gunners over a €800,000-a-month deal.
