Real Madrid have had a final offer for Franck Ribery rejected by Bayern Munich.
Just hours after Bayern president Franz Beckenbauer slapped an £80 million price-tag on Ribery, L'Equipe reported that Real had failed with a new offer for the winger.
Real's bid was for a massive £65 million, but it was thrown out by Bayern.
The Madrid giants are now ready to pursue other targets as they seek to add an extra attacking midfielder to Manuel Pellegrino's squad.
