Real Madrid face a new dilemma over the future of Lucas Silva.

The Brazilian midfielder was sent back to Cruzeiro on-loan in January after failing to establish himself at Real.

However, UOL Esporte says while the loan runs to mid-2018, Cruzeiro are ready to cut short Silva's stay and send him back to Europe.

Of 65 games this season, Silva only saw action in 31 - starting just 16.

The midfielder also could break the deal himself courtesy of a clause in the existing contract.
