Real Madrid wing-back Marcelo was dropped for victory over Sevilla.

Marcelo was unimpressive in defeat at Granada last week and his fitness has disappointed coach Jose Mourinho.

Real No2 Aitor Karanka confirmed Marcelo was fit for the game: "He has been training for a long time but we could only pick 18 players and we believed that other players were better at the moment."
