Real Madrid management are being accused of playing favourites after Cristiano Ronaldo's strop on Saturday. While Ronaldo will escape punishment for ignoring coach Manuel Pellegrini's outstretched hand after being substituted in the win over Tenerife, Esteban Granero was told off for his reaction to being replaced by Kaka, says El Mundo Deportivo.

Real general manager Jorge Valdano gave Granero a slap on the wrist for leaving the game before the end, but has turned a blind eye to Ronaldo's strop - his second already this season after a similar display when he was substituted against Xerez.
