Real Madrid sports chief Miguel Pardeza insists they do not miss Dutch pair Arjen Robben and Wesley Sneijder.

Both Robben, with Bayern Munich, and Inter Milan's Sneijder have made a big impact at their new clubs, but Pardeza says: "We have a good squad and they will find their peak performance over time. I'm sure they will.

"And we're going to have to fight with other major European squads.

"From the squad of last season, two important players left in Snejider and Robben.

"So far we have not missed them. The reality is that Robben wanted to go and his father asked us to sell him because he wanted to be a guaranteed starter. And Inter came to us for Sneijder and put forward a bid that could not be refused."
