Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp was open to a move to Real Madrid, it has been revealed.

El Economista says Klopp was keen to hear from Real, but is now committed to BVB after growing fed-up with waiting for the Spanish giants to make a concrete approach.

When it first emerged that Jose Mourinho was considering leaving Real during the New Year, Klopp was excited by the prospect of replacing him in Madrid.

But with no contact from Real intermediaries forthcoming, the German had no interest in being messed around and chose to commit to Dortmund for next season.
