Real Madrid discuss replacing Ronaldo in summer

Real Madrid won't open new contract talks with Cristiano Ronaldo until May.

Punto Pelota says there's been no movement from either side over Ronaldo's deal, with it agreed nothing will be discussed until May.

Meanwhile, Real are prepared to listen to offers for Gonzalo Higuain and will seek to replace him with either Atletico Madrid star Radamel Falcao or Manchester City's Sergio Aguero if they cannot secure agreement with Napoli for Edinson Cavani.

Bayer Leverkusen defender Dani Carvajal will be re-signed, while Tottenham winger Gareth Bale is also on Real's radar.

However, Bale will only arrive if Ronaldo leaves.
