Inter Milan are ready to sell fullback Douglas Maicon to Real Madrid.

Maicon's agent, Antonio Caliendo, revealed yesterday that Real had been in contact about the Brazil international.

And Madrid sources have told calciomercato.com that Real are now discussing a £20 million fee with Inter for Maicon.

Meanwhile, Caliendo said last night: "I cannot deny a thing. The options are all still open.

"Is (Inter president) Massimo Moratti informed of this situation? He is not an inexperienced, he knows it all."
