Real Madrid defender Pepe is happy Sergio Ramos has been returned to the starting XI.

Ramos, after being axed for victory over Champions League opponents Manchester City, was recalled by coach Jose Mourinho for the win at Rayo Vallecano.

"He has shown once again that he has helped the team, but the important thing is the effort of the whole team and the fact that we have taken all three points," said Pepe.
